Daniel Farag is a shareholder and board member of Pacifico Aquaculture.  Previously, Daniel was Co-CEO of Pacifico alongside Omar, a position he held for 8 years.  In that role, he oversaw all aspects of sales, marketing, processing, finance and investor relations. Pacifico primarily sold product to higher end food service and restaurants such as French Laundry, Pujol (#1 restaurant in North America), Nobu, and True Food Kitchen.  Daniel help steward the expansion into retail with Whole Foods Market (named supplier of the year in 2019), Gelsons, Bristol Farms, Wegmans, and Costco, among others.

Prior to Pacifico, Daniel was a private equity associate at GI Partners in San Francisco and an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in Los Angeles. 

He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.

Daniel is based in Los Angeles with his spouse, two young boys and terrier rescue.  He enjoys hiking, spinning, reading, live music and travel.  He is also life long fan of the Lakers, USC football, and most recently, LAFC.
